Ronald Paul Peterson age 83 of Edina, MN formerly of Eden Prairie, MN passed away on October 10th, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bernard and infant sister, Marie. He was born on August 26, 1935 in Omaha, NE to Madeline and Paul Peterson. Ron is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Mary Jane (nee Patka); daughters, Terri (Tim) Omdahl and Nancy (Tom) Bray; grandchildren, Woodrow (Fiancé, Courtney Bjustrom) Stensland, Frances Bray, Owen Omdahl, Isabel Omdahl; brothers, Daniel and Philip (Patty); sisters-in-law. Nance Peterson and Patty Jo (Don) Peterson; brother-in-law, James (Terry) Patka and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service Monday, October 15th, 2018 10;00 a.m. Visitation Sunday, October 14th 3-5:30 p.m. and 1/2 hour prior to service all at Gill Brothers Funeral Home, 5801 Lyndale Ave. So. Minneapolis, MN. Private interment at Bay Lake Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to the Park Nicollet Frauenshuh Cancer Center or the Bay Lake Improvement Association.
