Sheila T. (Fleming) Ludke age 76 of Mpls., died Sept. 28 after a long illness. Sheila was very close to her family, including her sons, Michael and Kevin (Katie Murphy) and grandchildren, Kienan (18), Diego (17) and Graciela (12) Ludke. She lived in SW Mpls., a few blocks from where she grew up and walking distance from her grandkids. As an only child of Henry and Frances (McDermott) Fleming, she was exceptionally close with her many cousins. Some of the best times of her life were spent with her cousins, and they stood by her through her 5-year cancer battle. Their love and support areappreciated. She had a successful career, beginning as a teacher in Houghton Lake, MI where she met her husband Edward in the 1960s. She worked most recently as a project leader for DRC. She is preceded in death by her husband and grandson Kieran Ludke. Memorial Mass Thursday October 4, 2018 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church (4735 3rd Ave. Minneapolis, MN) Wake at 4 p.m. and funeral at 5 p.m., followed by dinner.
