Obituary for Jack Leslie Hart

Jack Leslie Hart
Jack L. Hart, age 67 of Golden Valley. Born November 11, 1950; passed away July 31, 2018. Preceded in death by father, Robert Hart. Survived by mother, Norma Hart; sisters, Judy Pankonin (Wayne), Jane Gaynor (Tim); brother, Jerry Hart; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; and cousins, as well as life partner of 41 years, Jeff Lamberg. After graduation from UMD with a double major in business administration and accounting, Jack was drafted and joined the Air Force Reserve. During his tenure in the service, Jack could often be found playing the organ at Fort Snelling for Sunday church services. During that time, Jack began his long and successful career in financial services lending millions of dollars to companies throughout the country. Helping provide the capital to save and create jobs; and provide assistance to help businesses become successful was an important driver in Jack’s life. In 1973 Jack began his career with James Tallcott, Inc.; two years later he joined Norwest Business Credit, Inc. In 1985 he was instrumental in starting Washington Square Financial, a new asset-based lending company; he was the executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for eleven years. In 1996 Jack founded ACRO Business Finance Corp. where, for over ten years, he continued to help other businesses with their financial needs. In 2007 Jack formed LBA Financial where he continued to provide financial consulting services until his passing. In addition, for the past year, Jack was president of Clear Water and Air, LLC. Along with his many joys, he was particularily fond of spending time in Florida near the Gulf of Mexico enjoying all the amenities that went along with it. Funeral Service 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 6th at Gill Brothers Funeral Home, 7300 42nd Avenue North, New Hope. Visitation 4:00-7:00, Sunday, August 5th and one hour prior to service.
